Neural Matters Limited was co-founded in 2001 by Saba Safdar and Tony Wall.

The company develops leading edge applications in the fields of Mind Mapping and Knowledge Management.  Mind Mapping was invented by Tony Buzan in the early 1970's and has become an indispensable tool used by millions of people and companies around the globe.

Saba Safdar (Co-Founder, joint CEO and Business Director) read BSc Mathematical Modelling at Kingston University and is a also a Buzan Licensed Instructor.  He is also an IBM Certified LAN Server Engineer and a Microsoft Certified Professional and holds the eMA e-marketing qualification.

Previously, Saba has worked as an IT consultant at a senior level for over 9 years for blue chip clients such as IBM UK, Prudential, Barclays Bank, Deutsche Bank and Siemens Business Services.  He has introduced Mind Maps and brainstorming techniques into a number of organisations.

Tony Wall (Co-Founder, joint CEO and Chief Software Architect), is a highly experienced and qualified software architect and technical engineer. He holds the Microsoft MCSD, MCAD and MCSE qualifications and has been developing leading edge applications for over 10 years and providing technical consultancy for over 16 years. He has worked for large corporations including IBM, British Gas, Arthur Andersen, Barclays Bank, Deutsche Bank, Siemens and Fidelity Investments.

This unique team brings together the best aspects of experienced Mind Mapping and analytical skills with state-of-the-art technology and enterprise application development skills.

Jon Sheldrake (Business Development Director) is an experienced researcher and business development manager. He has worked in research for a series of blue chip organisations including IDC and Ford. He has also worked in business development roles in the IT industry at Apptime and Meko. Jon speaks four European languages fluently and has extensive experience working across Europe and the US. His career has taken in many vertical markets including biotech and automobiles. However his main area of expertise is IT research and marketing.
